Partisan’s RISO Beginner’s Course is back! – learn the basics about risography and how to use it with analogue hardcopies from its scanner top from Lisa (Team Trident Press).

We’ll be using the Partisan Collective RISO to explore this magical machine and understand how to make use of this unique printing method for DIY projects like zines, flyers and posters. Each participant will be able to create their own two colour A3 print.

Participants are welcome to bring along their own mark making tools such as pens and collage bits, but we’ll provide plenty for everyone anyway. In the end of the workshop you’ll be able to take away up to 10 copies of your design. Biscuits, tea and coffee will be provided. Bring a packed lunch if you feel you will get peckish or have a bigger brekkie.

Leading up to opposing Britain First’s planned march through our city on 21st of February, with the background of increasing fascist activity in our communities, it’s especially important that we build & strengthen these connections, that we have the collective strength to take care of each other, to have each other's backs.

Join us for a couple of free Muay Thai taster sessions & see what we’re about.

Training 6-7pm, followed by free food & hangouts.
Food will be vegan and gluten free, but we can’t guarantee allergies etc.
Bring comfortable clothes, all equipment provided.
It is essential that you book in advance or we cannot guarantee entry.

We are beginner-, queer- and trans-friendly.

We will be discussing our Safer Spaces Policy and Code of Conduct. Governance WG will be recommending a particular approach that adapts the work of other organisations. More information will be shared via email.

We understand this is a sensitive topic. Many leftist organisations have failed to confront sexual violence, ableism, transphobia and other harms.

There will be a quiet room available for those who need it. We ask everyone who comes along to approach the conversation with care and sensitivity, as well as respect for confidentiality.

There will be time at the end for members to raise particular topics and shout out any upcoming events.
