Partisan Parties Safer Spaces Policy
We want everyone attending Partisan events to feel free to be themselves, to have fun, and to keep each other safe. To that end, everyone attending Partisan events must agree to:
Respect each other - Partisan is a radical, queer cooperative, and as such we have zero tolerance for bigotry or discrimination of any kind. This includes racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and ageism, as well as prejudice based on gender presentation, class, or religion. Violations will result in immediate removal from the space.
Create a welcoming space - Partisan is a fun and inclusive space. Please be aware of any positions and privileges you bring, including but not limited to racial, class and gender privilege.
Challenge prejudice and oppression - If you notice someone who seems uncomfortable at Partisan due to another person’s actions, please raise it with other community members.
Communicate respectfully - We all deserve to be addressed as we prefer - if you don’t know someone’s pronouns, please use they/them or ask politely.
Know your limits - Please drink and party responsibly. Anyone putting themselves or others at risk will be removed from the space. This includes respecting others' personal space and boundaries.
If you cannot adhere to these guidelines, then unfortunately Partisan isn’t for you and we respectfully ask that you don't purchase a ticket. And if you can - see you ont dancefloor!
